Although the actress answers affirmatively, things may change in reality.
Actress Gal Gadot claimed in a recent interview that James Gunn and Peter Safran, who took over the creative oversight of DC companies, gave her the assurance that the companies will produce a third Wonder Woman movie and that they wanted her to play the title character. The news may have delighted the actress’s fans, but according to sources at DC Studios, the only project in development that even remotely relates to Fantastic Woman is the HBO Max series Paradise Lost, which will describe how the island of Themyscira came to be the home of the Amazons before Diana was born.
Gadot stated, “I was invited to a meeting with James Gunn and Peter Safran, and they said, quote, ‘You’re in good hands.'” This was in a recent interview with Flaunt magazine. Together, we’re going to perform Wonder Woman. You need not fear because I genuinely like you in the part. However, according to Variety’s sources, Gadot has not been given any clear guarantees regarding Wonder Woman 3 and DC Studios is presently just concentrating on the ten games revealed at the start of the year, including Superman: Legacy.
Gal Gadot wasn’t the only one caught off surprise by DC Studios’ change of direction; fans of the DC Extended Universe also experienced disappointment with The Flash, which went on to become the largest box office flop in superhero movie history. Hollywood analysts blamed the movie’s failure to audience alienation, asking why people would spend time and money on a character who wouldn’t even be included in the next iteration of the DC film world.
